Work Study
As of Brabu’s 10th anniversary, the Pharmacy has successfully sponsored or mentored 10 employees in completing their on-line Pharmacy Technician classes and obtaining their US Certifications.
Currently two (2) more employees have already completed their on-line classes and internship hours, and are ready to take their certification exams. Good luck Emily and Anna!
Brabu is very proud to announce that four (4) former employees are currently attending university in Washington State, Boston, New York, and Honolulu to become Pharmacists. Study hard Winona, Alina, Minori, and Patsylynn.
Internships
Brabu Pharmacy has provided several interns with a full experience in retail pharmacy services, including compliance with HIPPA, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements, dispensing prescriptions with confidence, and professional patient consultation in preparation for taking their certification exams. We are currently accepting Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacist interns from University of Hawaii, Brookline University, and Penn Foster and we would be happy to accept interns from other US schools and programs given an interest is expressed by students.
Volunteers
Brabu Pharmacy is happy to participate in the CNMI public school system’s Service Learning Program, which requires students to complete a required number of hours in the work force before graduating. Several of our past Service Learning Students are currently enrolled in university pursuing careers in health and other professions.
